I am a NCAA athlete and therefore am subject to NCAA drug testing. I am looking at the banned substance list and the only thing I see in Nitor that might be a problem is the DHEA and maybe the caffiene. Does anybody know if taking Nitor will make me test positive for any of the banned substances? Here is a link to the NCAA banned substance list:

Caffeine is not a banned substance.
Edit: I spoke too soon... It is banned if the content in the urine exceeds 15 Micrograms/ml.. Does anyone know how much caffine one would have to consume to get to this level of concentration?

I think Nitor has something huge like 600mg caffine in various forms (someone correct me if i'm wrong.) If that doesn't show up as a high concentration in urine, I dont know what will.

Wow, so it looks like I am gonna have to stay away from this. It doesnt look like there are any fat burners out there that wouldnt come up positive for some banned substance...

Check with Chris Mason first, but I'm sure he'd said 600mg caffeine in various forms.

also 600mg is milligrams. a microgram i think is done as mcg...and 15micrograms would be like .15mg (if I am doing my metric conversions right).
are you sure its 15 micro grams of caffine? a cup of coffee or a can of soda would put you over that limit.

The ban is on excess of 15 Micrograms/ml of caffeine in the urine.
The question that needs answering is what amount in mg's ingested would result in less than 15 mcg's excreted.

I am not aware of the answer to that question. I suggest you check with your team physician. As to the balance of the product I would have to check the NCAA banned substances list.
I think it best you avoid the product.
