I plan on bulking Ht= 5 ' 11 Wt= 188 Bf% = 21
I would like to bulk to about 210-215 then cut to about 185-195 with about 10-12% Bf. How does this diet sound. Please critique if needed

Egg - 1 cup
Spinach - 3 cups
Carrots - 5 of them
Oatmeal - .25 cup
Apples - 4 of them
Berries - 1 cup
Flaxseed oil - 2 tbls
Mixed nuts- .5 cup
Chicken breast - 16 oz 2 pieces 8 oz a piece
Sweetpotato - 1 cup
Lentilt - 1 cup
Cauliflower - .75 cup
Acerola - .25 cup
Cottage cheese - 1.5 cups
Vinegar - .25 cup

Aprox. 3587 cal. 37% fat, 30% Carbs, 27% Prot

This will of course be seperated in to meals P + F and P + C and include 3protien drink 1 while working out 1 right after with creatine and dextrose, and 1 more that im not really sure of when to take it

Any replies would be great thanx

Your diet looks good, but are you sure you want to bulk at 21% bf?Once you get to 210-215, you maybe 25%+ bf.Cutting down to 10-12% will be long arduous task.

How long have you been lifting? If you are a newbie, I would eat maintence or maybe 5 to 10% less. You could burn fat and gain muscle at same time. If you are veteran lifter, I would suggest eating at 25% from maintence. Cut down to sub 15% and then go on bulk.

Thats just my .02

Im a newbie and plan on doing Builts Baby Got Back routine. Your advice sounds really good and is prolly what ill do. But from what i've been reading it sounds the opposite. Thanx Mr. D

Do some searches, youll see similiar threads to this. But at 21% bf, i just think thats too high to do a bulk. Get your diet and training in order, and your will feel and look better.

A good place to start for a maintence estimate, 15 x bodyweight. Make sure you are getting at the minimum, 150g of protein (and that is bare minimum, i would suggest over 200g) and at least 75g of good healthy fats a day.Fill the rest of your cals in with whatever suits you.

You should factor those into your calorie count.

:withstupi...and you might want to lower the carbs a bit and up the protein..at least for me it makes me feel more satieted and crave food less.

Ok I just got my results back on a 3 fold bf% and it 19.3 and i weighed my self with a very accurate scale this morning and my wt. was 178 naked. Can I still bulk and bring bf% down. What shake should I be putting creatine in the workout shake or post workout shake. I've read it somewhere. And also im trying to decide what routine I should do first as a newbie: Baby Got Back or WBB1. Any help or ideas is greaty appreciated Thanks

I would bulk. Unless you are really trying to get skinny for summer then cut I guess. At 178lbs 19% Bf you dont have much LBM. A clean bulk can get you more LBM and if you gain LBM and fill out your muscles you will look better, lower your BF, and get to work on a solid foundation.
