i pretty much starved my self down to 240. The first month was pretty much all water and muscle memory. My biggest challenge was getting over 308lbs. It took almost 3 weeks. Otherwise gains were pretty much easy. They've always been. I'd gone up to this weight before. But this time my bf was much lower than last. Hopefully on my next bulk, I will find a similar rebound effect.

Holy Freak!!!
Looking big and strong Xand..
Do you take measurements before & after your cuts?? It would be interesting to see where the weight comes off.

And strength measurements too??
I've always wondering when the big BB'ers lose 50-60 lbs how much they loose in the Big 3 or other lifts...

All the sudden I feel good about eating three bagel sandwiches with 3 pieces of turkey each, 2 pieces of cheese, and 3 hot dog wieners each...um...ROAR.

This is why I look around here...so I don't get a big head. I walk around feeling bigger than most people, or at least in better shape...then I come here to deflate my head. LOL. Now I feel like a baby sucking his thumb

I'm out in Los Angeles this week working on a tv show and looking for a place to live while I'm out here. One of the main trainers at Gold's said, I could make a lot of money teaching people how to pose and coming up with routines for them. So I think I can make it out here without doing the showbiz thing. I took off a lot of water weight. I haven't weighed myself but I feel like I'm about 310 or so. I've noticed a little strength decrease but that could be just assimilating to the new gym etc... I can usually incline bench 495 for 12-15 and did 10 today.

Funny thing happened, I couldn't fit in the seats of the airplane out to Los Angeles. Even when I got an aisle seat, I stuck out way too far, they said it was a safety hazard.

Is anyone going to the Ironman in Pasadena? Let me know.

I'll get some. The legs are good 32"+ -- I have to wear Sportshield because my legs rub together so much. Also, most of my pants are worn through. I wish I had more tear trop though.

Calves are lagging only 19" in comparison. The problem is no matter how much I work them I can't get them sore. I used to use a lot of weight now I'm going for higher reps, 20 or more.

My sports background is probably why, I was a competitive gymnast until college and became a cheerleader at the University of TX. I started dancing in music videos right after college and then became a corps dancer in a ballet company.

Ya know I think that's a sign you're ready for the big leagues. :)

I was on a plane a while back and saw Milos Sarcev getting on.

He was in business class with no one beside him because no one would fit! His fitness-bunny wife (at least thats who I think it was) had to sit across the aisle!

Cheerleader????!!?? Ballet!!!???? !! You gotta be kidding! Forgive me but I gotta laugh at that. I mean I understand the strength and flexibility that it takes, but c'mon.....Talk about an underutilization of team talent. The coaches should be flogged for not recognizing the guy throwing the girls 45 feet into the air. Unreal - man, I'd give anything to be able to walk with that kind of mass. Good luck with your cut, and good luck in LA.

Thanks ROCK STEADY I read the article and I'll try it out. Right now I do them DC style 1 sec up, 5 secs down, 15 secs stretch.

DJREEF, it is kinda funny but it paid the bills and got me laid.

My highest weight in college was about 240 (guys had to keep 10% bodyfat and girls had to keep 13%). And when I danced I was 180-185. I didn't start bodybuilding until 2003. If it wasn't for TEUFELHUND becoming my workout partner, I probably never would have stuck with it. I met him during my first bulk we used lift rediculously heavy and eat everything in sight.

Are speaking of inclining 495 lbs with a barbell and free weights or with some sort of a machine?

Lol. Just got back from Vegas today and weighed in at 298. It was kind of a brain F*** not to be over 300lbs. Feel a little flat because I didn't get to work out much. I did do a little sparring with one of the Chuck Lidells trainers which was reall awesome. Dana, Chuck Lidell and the UFC guys had a suite upstairs from me at Mandalay bay.

THANKS, my arms were around 23" and legs a bit shy of 32 in the above pics. I want to focus on lower quads and calves.

The cut is not going well. Losing size freaks me out.

Thought I was going to do a contest but I have a hectic shoot schedule in March and April. Being it's my first contest, I think I'd be too stressed out to add that on top of my busiest work time.

02-06-2007, 08:32 PM
The cut is not going as well as I want. I'm working on a show and living in a hotel right now. It's really hard to get to the gym and sometimes I get too busy to take time to eat. But it's only for a month and I think that if I don't stress about it, I'll be able to fix whatever damage happens quickly. I have muscle milks everywhere on set. Also, I'm using the shakers I just got from AtLarge to stir up stuff in my room. The housekeepers must think I'm nuts.

Chris- It's 495 on the Smith Machine.
Twan- Not a bouncer.
