IF I throw a Banna in my whey protein, is that the same as having those protein powders with the carbs. How many carbs, does a Banna Have? And would this be a good idea. keep in mind looking to put on weight.
PS I cant take those carb filled protein powders because of the thickness, so I thought this might be a better way to get those carbs in.

If you're using it for a post workout shake, a banana is a bad idea. Fructose will replenish liver glycogen instead of the muscle glycogen. You'll want to use dextrose for your post workout shake. If you're implying this as a meal and not post workout shake, then you'll always want to use real food instead of shakes.
