View Full Version : 8 pics ... tell me what's out of proportion

I feel like I've gotten into notably better shape over the past few months, but I've noticed some shots from when I was sweating hard, tanner, shaved and pumped up look a lot better than these. At any rate, the goal I have over the next few months is to proportion everything out. So...take a look and let me know what I need to bring up and such. Be nit-picky if you can (ie I feel like my biceps are out of proportion with my brachialis maybe?)

I haven't had access to a working scale in the past couple weeks, but I'd guess I'm 6'3 and 220-227 lbs...

Thanks for all the help!

Rear delts seem to be lagging... but I'm not too good at this. Look good overall though!

You look great, imo. At 6'3 that's quite a look. If anything, I think your legs are lagging some- quads and hams should be bigger to balance out your upper body.

I swear Justin; if you follow some pansy ass BBing split, I'm going to have to beat your ass when I get back to school. Heavy lifting FTW!

You do look good for a tall person, I would say ur calves are lagging and ur lats especially in front and rear double bicepts need work.

I'd say your nipples are too close together... lol.. jk

But really, you look great.. awesome progress...
Perhaps I might add some more thickness to your legs to match your width/spread in your upperbody/back..

It's hard to tell because your posing isn't very good (no offense), but your chest seems to lag. Calves also look very far behind.

You look good. My only criticism would be that your calves are lagging.

traps, forearms, and calves. What about your hamstrings? That is what I see in the shots so far. You have a great classical look kinda like steve reeves. Great job

i agree with him and i'd like to see some bigger legs to (but thats cuz im a little obsessed wiht big legs) but they really arent out of porportion - but dont leave them behind :)

I'd say legs as a whole are lacking - quads, hamstrings and especially calves.
Chest could probably also do with some work too.

Overall pretty good though, and you have a great V-taper from the back!

I think chest is lagging alot.

Other then that...its not that things are lagging so much as they could be bigger.

Okay, since everyone is being nice, I'll be the dickhead.

I think you have nice size on your shoulders, your abs are lean and you have a nice lat spread. Those are the goods.

Now, I think you need to work on your tri's, your traps, your quads and your calves, and your chest definitely needs work. You have a good amount of muscle, but you could gain some in those areas. I especially think your legs need work.

Good luck and hopefully you continue progressing.

Now, there are a few other things, or maybe it's the camera angle. It looks like you are slouching forward. I don't know if that's a posture issue or if it's a muscle issue. You could be lagging really bad in yoru upper back or your posture is not good.

Chest could use some work, but overall looks good.

Work those CALVES !!!!!!!!

I recall, back in the late 80's early 90's, I was ready an article in "One of the Joe Wieder sponsered" magazines and someone was on a mission to add 2 inches to their calves in less than a year. Wish I could remember the workout.

Great physique, no doubt !! Many props.

You have a similar physique to me, I've got the same problem with the chest. Shoulders are great, lats need thickness, legs need another 2-3" to give you a nicer X shape.

I see almost the same kind of look from me in your last pic, you need lots more traps there, obliques could come up if your willing to put on more mass on your shoulders and legs.

Id say traps and especially legs need the most work. Not bad, though, overall.

Yo Justin. I dunno if this has been stated at all yet, and I'm sure it hasn't, but I think you need to work on your chest.

Traps and legs (mainly calves) need the most work. Looking good overall and shoulders are very nice.

TRAPS. The rest just keep working but the tiny traps caught my eyes first.
