What are everyones goals this year? Mine is still 600lb bench and stay injury free for a change. One thing I do not plan on doing this year is cutting any weight :burger:

Squat 400-420 by june, Bench 225, dead 400-420 by june. I know, my bench sucks :)
I definately want to get to at least 250 by the end of the year as well.
Dec. 9th 2006 - 440/319/469 = 1229 100 % raw @ 237.5 lbs
by Dec. 2007 - 500/360/535 = 1395 Raw @ 220 lbs
That way, when I hit 1400 I will exceed my goals!!

Bench: 145 by March 28 (w/ shirt) Therefore breaking the provincial record by 7 lbs
Squat: 145 lbs by January (rehabbing my knee is going to take a while...)
Deadlift: 290 lbs by January ( I can do 145 for 10 right now, just cant train too heavy yet)
Mostly, I would like to qualify for nationals in the three lift for the 2007-2008 national competition in Canada. I have to total *i think* 315 kg in the 60 kg weight class. I also just want to rehab my knee completely and stay injury free *crosses fingers*

Bench 300, squat 400, Dead 450 at 175-180LBs.
The bench goal I think I can hit before the year is up. Same with dead. Squat is going to be harder though.
All assuming I don't have any major setbacks.

To raw bench 725+, to lose weight slowly enough that I don't lose strength (wanna cut down to about 330-340 tops)., and to hopefully get surgery on my knees after I get the record.

Shirted Bench: 500
Squat: 550
Deadlift: 625
All at 242, I suppose. I guess I wouldn't be that wound up if I'm at 275, but the lifts would be higher.

Goals for 2007:
Raw: SQ: 600 BP: 365 DL: 600
Geared: SQ: 800 BP: 450 DL: 650
At a bodyweight of 242-250.
If I stay healthy and keep my training up to speed, those numbers should hopefully come by the end of the year. :strong:

In 2005, my wife & I had baby. So, that affected my strength a lot. My best equiped bp in competition is 523. I have missed 550:bang: & 575:bang: before.
In 2006, I benched 462 raw.:clap:
I compete March 24 & April 28. So, I hope to put a good raw & equiped bp.:strong:

Get into serious powerlifting and compete in a WABDL meet:
BP: 405
DL: 500 (no straps this time)
SQ: 500
and for the long term grab the bench and deadlift records for either the 308lb or SHW class in Hawaii (by 2010).

realistic for me is:
eat properly/staying healthy
avoid injuries as much as i can
reduce bodyfat down to 20% (im a fatty)
and increase my lifts of course :)

I've started squatting to parallel rather than ATF in preparation of my first powerlifting meet. With this and a bench PR, my total is now up to 1,135 lbs.
I now have about eleven months to add 165 lbs to my total- while also dropping a minimum of 18 lbs.

i train for strongman not powerlifting, so i do different lifts
i would be happyish with:
- 250kg deadlift
- 140kg front squat
- 180kg full squat
- 100kg standing strict press
- 135kg close grip bench press
OR 805kg total in these lifts
Squat 405
Bench 350-365
Get bigger overall and stronger

squat ATG- not sure what my max is now but id like to do 405 for a pause atg squat( shouldnt be the same as bench but o well)
deadlift- 520
while weighing 220 or less AND STILL AS A TEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont turn 20 until sept 22!!!!!

Haven't been on WBB in a while. 2006 was a bad year for me. I bombed and bombed. My first meet of 2007 is the APF/AAPF Candyass Classic in 3 weeks. Training has been pretty good and I am psyched for the meet.
2007 Goals:
Squat 600+ and total Elite @148.
Squat 700+ and total Elite @165.
Simple, but yet so difficult.

400kg/880lbs total with body weight remaining under 82.5kg/181.5lbs
Split something like
170kg deadlift
100kg bench (limited by shoulder injury)

just a quick update goal was 500 blew it away with a 575 this weekend. ive just unlocked so much power in a little amount of time its scary. wbb style gotta love it. gonna go ahead and shoot for 650 this year.
