I was wondering when your last meal of the day should be. I typically eat whenever I'm hungry, even if that means an hour or so before bedtime. Not a huge meal or anything but usually an apple w/PB or something.

Is this ok?

It depends...if you're trying to bulk and need to fit in some extra calories, eating before bed works just fine.

I always eat at bedtime, especially when I'm cutting.

This is something I have been wondering much more about lately as well.

I posted this the other day:

I was reading some info the other day that suggest not eating, especially any carbs, to close to sleeping because the insulin response from the food will inhinit the natural GH production we have while we sleep.

I will dig up the article again and post more on the topic.

I ate a cup of CC with mixed nuts at 10 right before I went to bed, woke up at 2, had a handful of nuts, woke up again at 4:30, ate some more nuts, and then had breakfast of cottage cheese, fresh kiwi and nuts when I got up to get ready for work. Eating at night is good.

most 'in the know' trainees would eat protien and some fat before bed, not much in the way of carbs.

most americans eat nothing but carbs...so the 'generic' advice for fat lazy americans is to not eat before bed.

I have a cup of Cottage Cheese and a spoonful of natural peanut butter right before bed :)
