Although dont even worry about weights much bro, there are much more fun things to do at 13.

Hell at 13 I was playing video games until 4 in the morning.

Do that. And pick up a sport.

I think that 13 is an awesome age to start lifting. I wish I started then and found this place right away.

When I was 13 I was trying to find girls to kiss...playin basketball...baseball...football...video games....didn't even know what weights were. Although I wish I started earlier, I think 13 is a bit too young.

Not really one step 'better' per say. You've barely hit puberty, your body is going through tons of physiological changes. Adding weightlifting to that may or may not effect you negatively. I don't know enough about lifting in young teens to say either way.

I never liked WBB1, I used it and I lost a lot of strength, but if you're a beginner it would be pretty good. Just eat HEALTHY, eat more than you did before, sleep regularly, and weighlift HARD.

my advice to you is to become a master of your own bodyweight. Do pushups, pullups, one legged squats, dips, and play lots of sports. Eat a little more, and focus on developing your skills in soccer.

If you're ready for weightlifting though, glad to have you aboard.
