Impressive stuff!

As soon as the video started, I was thinking, "Damn, he's starting pretty close to the wall.." and then you slammed the barbell into the wall. I don't know if you have room to move your platform, but it's something to think about.

I think I've seen videos of yours (w. bands?) before at P&B. Good stuff and welcome to WBB.

nice lifts man. you may want to think about moving your platform abit to your right. when the barbell hit the wall i was thinking, oh **** hes gonna drop it on his face. great lifts though! impressive stuff.

Thanks guys for the compliments. Don't be fooled I am slower than molasses now a day, getting older doth suck a big one.

As for the platform, well its stuck where it is because I have no more room. Hey if that wall hadn't been there and the door shut, out onto the grass my ass would have went! Maybe in a few years my wife will let me build myself a real gym that has heat and air conditioning and plenty of room.

Glad you guys enjoyed them.

By the way Starke, I think I saw some clips of you awhile back on youtube, man you ain't no pushover yourself. You are the size I'd love to be at again. To you have to work to stay at that weight or are you just naturally there regardless of what you eat?

Whoa, that's truly explosive. Great balance (must be monster wrists).

Very impressive...Soon when you up the weight they'll be going through the floor on the way down ;)

Sweet snatches, man. I'm right at about the point of being able to do 135 myself. I tried it a couple weeks ago and had it, just couldn't keep it balanced. Gonna try again soon.

Good lift. I almost shot juice out of my my nose when you hit the wall.

You have 150 just have to stick with it. Are those LBS or KG?

01-31-2007, 06:48 PM
nice i would love to have my own gym even a small one with no air or heat!!!

01-31-2007, 07:54 PM
Great lift, man. I must say, when you bumped the wall and went "Gyhod" ... i laughed my ass off.

looks dangerous

No more dangerous then anything else. Make sure you never let the weight go behind your head and don't let the weight wrench your shoulder trying to catch it on the way down.
