im 21 yrs old
6'0
185 lbs
looking to get up to 200 in the next few months

I weighed 185 in november and lost 10 lbs in december when i was home from school. Im back in school now and I gained those 10 lbs back in about 3-4 weeks...

anyway, this is a typical day for me:

breakfast: kashi go lean crunch- 2 cups, with skim milk
glass of OJ
- about 600 cals

meal 2- pasta w/ olive oil sauce & random veggies-
- about 900 cals

meal 3- chicken teryaki stir fry with rice and mixed veggies
- about 800 cals

*hit that gym*

meal 4- protein shake w/ 2 cups skim milk, frozen banana& strawberries, 1 scoop whey, tsp creatine, 3 tbsp natty pb, 1 cup oatmeal (try it!!)
- about 1000 cals

meal 5 (around midnight)- leftovers from earlier in the day
- around 700 cals

about 4000 calorie total

my day total is usually in the 3500-4000 range

a little more about me:

i lift 4 times a week, Ive been doing the 'baby got back' routine for a couple months and its going cool. Im the strongest Ive ever been right now.
i like to cook a lot and money is not a huge deal. Also, I have a small frame, I look about 15 lbs lighter than I actually am, so I'm not too concerned with packing on a little fat.

Im looking for comments from anyone, especially former skinny guys/ ectomorphs

Seems like a lot of carbs...maybe try adding in more protein-rich foods throughout your meals? Especially at breakfast.

Protein seems low to me as well.

if you add up all the protein in what i listed its in the high 100's- low 200's

u really think i need more than that?

enter your foods into www.fitday.com and give us exact macros. Meal 1 and 2seem to be very low in protein. Meal 5 seems to inexact to be truly track your cals.

Maybe you are getting high 100's but i dont see how.
