i am thinking about going on a diet in about a month ive been looking around on google and on here but i dont understand how to make a diet plan, i am looking for a plan that will help me get tone looking so i can see my abs, lats and other muscle, i was wondering if anyone could help me out? thanks

At 16, you should just eat lots of healthy food, and let growing and activity take care of recomposition.

Step 1:

Determine your baseline diet. The amount of calories you need per day to maintain weight.

Sign up to www.fitday.com and start tracking calories to do this. If you eat, for example, 2500 cals per day for 2 weeks and your weight doesn't change then that is your maintenance calories.

Once you have done this bump this thread or start another one and we can take it from there.

I agree with this also. Unless you are really over fat you should be able to dial it in with solid muscular gains.
