I've been cutting for about 3 weeks now and sometimes during the evening (9:00ish) I get really hungry. I don't want to have to cook anything but something quick and light.
What kind of "snacks" or quick items can be eaten as not to effect the diet?

I have been eating peanut butter just as a snack...but I sometimes go overboard...just want to know what else is out there.

I slightly undereat in the daytime so I can overeat at night. Save some calories for bedtime. I usually eat cottage cheese with a chunk of apple or a few berries and a few walnuts at bedtime.

Celery has almost 0 calories. Same with pickles, but they dont taste very good by themselves.

Cottage Cheese, PB, a scoop of nonfat yogurt mixed with sweetner and cinnamon is my nightly bedtime snack. The meal i most look forward to everyday.

Okay so this is off topic and a newb question...but does it not really matter when the calories are taken in?

Nope. its a myth about eating at night. Excess calories make you fat. that being said, i generally dont have any carbs in that last meal, aside from the carbs from pb and CC. a Protein+Fat meal.

Huge bowl (4-5 cups) of fresh spinach, sliced tomatos, mushrooms, a little fat free low cal thousand island dressing, balsamic vinegar, even one piece of overcooked bacon crumbled on top. 100 calories, maybe. And will fill you up for hours.

Like Built suggested, leave some calories for that bedtime snack. I like to save around 400 cals for that meal.

Jerky, nuts, protein powder, hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, veggies, edamame, hummus on veggies (brocolli dipped in hummus is amazing) are staples of my cutting diet.

Right before bed I have a cup of cottage cheese. During the day, if I need a snack, I reach for some pistachios, cheese, or even a glass of milk.

Apple or banana w/ PB.
Sometimes I find a few peanuts in the sheets before washing them - if that gives you any idea as to what my bedtime snack is...

I dislike cottage cheese.
Bananas, jello, protein pudding, nuts, and pickles are what I'll get :)
