View Full Version : So confused: rowing compliactes things

Ive been advised NOT to go the super low carb/keto diets in my quest to lose 20lbs in 8 week stating February.

Firstly...

Monday: Ergo-rower
Tues: On water/ lifting
Wed: On water
Thurs: ergo/lifting
F: Nothing
S: Race day.
Su: Lifting

Now I was thinking of carb cycling, but seeing as Im pretty much doing heavy cardio and/or lifting every day I have no idea how this is gonna work.

I obviously need to be under maitenence, but am so confused as to what macro break down I need.

With the rowing Ill need alot of carbs, so low fat diet?

HELP.

Im seriously so lost.

I'd just keep it simple. Hit your minimums and fill the rest with whatever.

The alternative would be to pick a priority. If you rowing is your priority, then do that diet.

Your solution is to keep things simple - eat a well balanced diet on a consistent basis.

What's well balanced?

Meat. Vegetables. Nuts/seeds. At every single meal. Throw some potatoes/rice/pasta/bread into the mix after a workout.

Do it consistently - I'm talking 2-3 years, not 2-3 months.

Be patient.

I really have no choice anymore.

Im cutting. Feb 6th, once school starts.

Meantime Im enjoying eating anything and everything.
