View Full Version : My starting pics - 150, on a mission.

01-27-2007, 06:30 PM
I've got a decent physique I think. I'm determined and ready to work. When I get into something, I obsess over it, almost compulsively. This is all I've been concentrating on lately - thinking about it and reading non-stop. This is going to be fun plus I could come out looking like a badass!

Advice, suggestions...anything let me know.

p.s. Thats my 74" screen in the background with WBB open. :)

I think that everyone will say: eaaaaaaaaaaat
eat (a lot), exercise (with intensity) and rest.

Good base to work from.

74" screen!

Nice and lean... Always a good way to start. Slow clean bulk (some people will disagree, but mostly is just a matter of personal preference) and you'll be on your way.

edit- damn 74" screen!... And I thought my 22" monitor was a good size

Excellent base as others have said... Just pack on the muscle bro.

Looks like he did all the others, then decided the last one would be a cool addition.

74" screen? Wanna be friends?

Wbb represent. You are lean which is the best starting point, keep us up to date with progress pix.

01-28-2007, 02:42 AM
Good stuff. Yeah I will be sure to update pics as progress...progresses. I don't want to take pics too often though, makes for less 'shock and awe', even to myself.

I'm really hoping that loading my diet up and rigorous exercise/workouts will help me get to where I wanna be. I feel this new diet plan will solely make a huge difference, I just havn't eaten like this for a long long time. Really, before I started this program I was eating hardly anything. Skipping breakfast, eating two weird meals each day...sometimes big..sometimes not then eating later at night before bed. Terrible sleeping patterns... alcohol... etc.

This is more than just getting big, it's really a cleaning up of myself. It's sweet to have all the support. I'm an avid car enthusiast and have another forum that runs in a similar fashion as this. The community feel is great, especially with the whole motivation aspect.

Ah.... how little I had been getting accomplished working out for years by simply lifting and not taking into consideration my diet...

-As for the screen, yeah I threw that last pic in there for the hell of it - after I had made the post, via edit.

6 meals a day - protein at each one.
Lifting 3-4 days a week
Lots of rest

If you can keep similar body fat to how it is now, you'll look great at 180.

Do you think maybe he's compensating for something ...

Ryan - as the others have said, you've got a great base to work with - it's obvious you have excellent pec genetics and KILLER bicep peak.

Eat, train, eat, rest, eat, and then eat some more. You'll grow well with your attitude.

Good luck.

PS WatchOutBuckFifty at the end is the money shot, absolutely. ;)

Very lean. I want to have that bodyfat % when I finally decide to cut.

Like everyone said....time to eat.

01-29-2007, 06:44 PM
Thanks for the interest and advice. I've been eating my heart out!! I'm thinking about posting pics of those same 4 shots as before every 2 weeks. It would be a neat log to have after the mission is over...

I'm gonna go get some food. :D

01-29-2007, 06:54 PM
What kind of video card are you using?

01-30-2007, 10:45 PM
It came with my HP, I'm pretty sure it's a GeForce5500. Run's well with a gig of RAM...nothing too fancy...gets the job done.

As far as the body goes, I had a great night at the gym. Getting broken into deadlifting and really getting wel-rounded workouts... I'm on my way...I feel sore..thats for sure.

2 week pics in 2 days :-D

I'm going to take the same shots every two weeks to track my progress and make a time-lapse video after I'm where I want....hopefully I make it...Ive been eating my heart out...

02-08-2007, 10:15 PM
Here are my two week results. I've been eating heavily and healthy... working out ever other day and taking in about 150g protein each day. I havn't weighed myself yet...I think I'd rather wait.

I still need a LOT of work... but I'm on my way and I feel great. Really, out of everything so far - I really am liking the mental attitude that working out is giving me. I feel healthier and more confident - each day is a new day to move forward.

Criticisms, suggestions...support...anything. Thanks everyone! Like I said before, I'm taking pics every two weeks in order to create a time-lapse sort of thing alter down the road. Wasn't wearin my glasses this time, hence the squinting.

Ah - I see you fixed the links. :)

02-08-2007, 10:27 PM
Yeah the links were problematic for about 5 min... you're fast!

So.... what do you think? Your opinion and advice is taken into consideration heavily. Shape me!

02-08-2007, 10:28 PM
I like you squinting! Very "Clint Eastwood"!

WEIGH YOURSELF!!! You need to know if you're eating enough.

Maybe set some of the pix up side by side so we can see the comparison.

You do LOOK ... more filled out. Like you've been eating.

Nice work.

Looking better in the second set of pics! keep at it. I think you'll look good with 20-30 more lbs of muscle. How are the legs? I hope you're not neglecting them :p Keep eating and lift hard.
