this is my first journal, welcome my life of uncapitalized letters and few apostrophes.
background:
for about 6 months i lifted on and off (typical curl jockey, bench press and arms twice a week). slowly, i learned the true ways of lifting. for the past 2 years now, i have been lifting with a bit more consistency, and only the past 9 months have i been lifting with true knowledge of what i am doing coupled with more consistency. this, as you can imagine, has led to my best results.
today:
as my name implies, i am a student at University of Wisconsin-Madison. i transfered here from a school in illinois for the education, however paying out of state tuition sucks. the gym here has 16 bench presses (of all sorts) and 2 power racks. i laughed.
as of now, my current one rep max's sit at:
bench-280
deadlift-405
overhead press-195
i cannot do squats as i have a chronic knee syndrome, that basically hurts like a bastard at all times of the day. hopefully some day i can consistently do squats, but if i do them on a day where my knee doesnt hurt, they will absolutely ache the following day.
i will post back after i lift today :).
