View Full Version : weak attempt at a diet

So... I am not pleased with my gut. I've created a simple diet for myself. I am replacing one meal a day (usually supper) with a heaping bowl of oatmeal. I can't handle the stuff plain, so i throw some peanut butter, cinnamon, a little bit of sugar, milk, and occasionally a little protein powder in it.
Do you all think this can help me drop a few pounds (of fat)?
My diet before hand was basically whatever i felt like eating, generally not that healthy since I'm a worthless cook.

This doesnt sound like too good of a plan. To lose weight, you need to be in caloric deficit.

a heaping bowl of oatmeal with sugar is going to be pretty calorically dense.

Here is the solution:
Increase your intake of protein and healthy fats, start an lifting routine and start tracking what you eat on www.fitday.com
