Can someone point me to a clear analysis of the various kinds of protein, like egg, casein, whey, soy, and how they function differently in the body? I did a cursory search, but didn't see anything that looked helpful.

Go to TrueProtein.com and underproducts click on protein. When the swcreen comes up with all the different types click on more info. Its not a 100 page thesis on each one but they have a great short description of what the different proteins do for your body, and how the act in the body.

If you click on custom mixes under one of those types of protein it will bring you to a page with proteins, carbs, etc etc etc and you can click on each one and it pops up a description also.

The description of the egg white protein leaves a little to be desired. What are the characteristics of its digestion? Is it digested more like whey or like casein?
