Party Games

Aside from the drinking games (i.e., beer pong/civil war/**** the dealer/whatever) what games do you guys play when you and your friends decide to have a little PG/PG-13 fun.

Anything in the realm of Catchphrase, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, etc. is what I'm looking for. My personal favorites include Taboo and Mafia.

Since most people I know are way into music, I like For The Record 80s/90s Edition.

Mario Party 5 is also a hell of a lot of fun, but when you start stealing stars, things can turn violent.

madden 07 and black are favorites. Every once in a while we'll pull out Monopoly, although I don't think we've actually ever finished a whole game. :p

Honestly if you ever get drunk with a bunch of friends are you got some music then this is a game we just made up:

Everybody gets in a circle and starts dancing and you find some random (heavier the better) object and whoever has the object in their hands is the dance leader and everyone has to mimic what they're doing. When they get sick of it then they'll throw it off to someone else. You're not allowed to not catch the object. If you're really drunk then to spice things up whoever is dance-leader, all the other people chant something demeaning that characterizes that person. Among others in my group were the chants "Euro-trash", "who is this guy?" (we literally had just met him earlier that night so we still didn't know him well), and "how'd he get this chick?" (because one of the guys was kinda a dork and landed some hot girlfriend). Just about anything that can be taken offensively is game.

You can't force people into that one though, gotta ease into it, best at the end of a long and crazy night.

I think I may be the smartest man in the world. I just thought of this game: Strip Twister.

Best played with a group of women, but if men float your boat that's fair game too.
So basically it's twister and whenever someone can't put their left foot on green (or whatever it happens to be) they have to remove a piece of clothing.

I know... genius! I'm going to have to bust this one out sometime soon.

and goddamn I can't think of what this game is called.....You have to read a card that sounds like a phrase when you read it out loud and then identify what phrase it is. *sigh* this is going to drive me crazy

Other then that. NOTHING tops drunken DDR. NOTHING.

Thats the only time DDR is fun. When you're drunk off your ass and miss everything. The whole time its hilarious.

Wise or Otherwise. And one I can't recall the name of where you have a booklet and you take turns filling in the words and it makes a ridiculous story. That's going to bug me now. And Apples to Apples.
