I'm eating just above calorie maintenance for a slow bulk, I'm just wondering what is the result of weight lifting at maintenance? I've heard people use the phrase "body recomposition" what does this mean?
Thanks.

Recomposition refers to changing the ratios of fat to lean mass...usually dropping fat and gaining muscle. Cut, then bulk, or vice versa.

Thanks. So what would happen if, instead of bulking and cutting, you constantly lifted weights on maintenance calories?

You would maintain your weight.

An extra 250 cals would be a good start.
