I will if I can ever get ahold of a camera. I plan on doing it in a meet in the near future (soon after the Arnold) and I imagine someone should get some vids then.

Nick, your strength is ridiculous.

I get to train with one of the most gifted, strongest guys in powerlifting(John Bernor). So I am used to seeing some freaky weight be moved, but that bench is just mind-blowing. Good luck to you, I hope you shatter it.

Thanks! John Bernor is a freak and one hell of a guy, I hope to get to meet him in person one of these days

Haven't decided yet, my work schedule is the deciding factor at the moment (it might be sooner than expected though). You have any suggestions for me?

bah nobody can sponser you for breaking the record, seems like tons of companies SHOULD be nocking on your door giving you $$, guess there never will be money for powerlifing :(

People get sponsored because they are marketable. Being good is not the sole qualification for sponsorship. I think that is the problem with powerlifting, just lifting weights is not enough. It has to be a win win situation. Athletes have to show how they can promote a particular company or product by more than just lifting heavy weights.

This has nothing to do with Nick, it is just a response to smokin's post.

I actually do have a good amount of sponsors, get everything I could need for free (supps, clothes, gear, travel, etc), but none give me money. I don't know of any powerlifters (aside from Gene when he was with MT) who get money from their sponsors. I'm not complaining about not getting money from my sponsors, I am incredibley grateful for what I do have. I am just broke because of my large amount of bills compared to my meager income. Without my sponsors I would not be able to train as hard and as often as I do.

well i guess thats good, just tell your company to sponser you by giving you a free paid day off. (like companies do that though)

guess we'll all have to wait. in the meen time keep bumping up your bench and stay injury free.
