Okay, these are Australian prices so this is how it rolls.

Power rack $730

plates are 2.75 a kg for gym size/oly type. I can't get full rubber ones, and I'm hoping I can get them for a fair whack less...

I can get some conveyer belt material for free for the flooring, and I've allready got some chains so I'm set there. I'm going to need a band pack but that can wait. Anything I'm missing that I need?

your gonna want a flat bench aswell. are you buying this all in store? or are you ordering it online? if your getting it online just make sure to add in shipping fees. also, look for used stuff. people usually get stuff for christmas and start to sell it right around this time because they realize their too lazy to use it. u can usually find plates for REALLY cheap.

hmm, rack, flat bench, db handles, you have chains and getting bands, that sounds fine for now dude, eventually you can get a reverse hyper or some other cool things.

Ive got an incline/decline bench that will suit me for a while, and I have no problem arching with the little gap in it :)

Online is not an option here, shipping will almost allways be more than the product.. grr.
