What up,

I am trying to figure out what is the most healthiest cereal at the grocery store. Currently I am eating Grape Nuts but was wondering if there is something better out there...

Good ole' Old fashioned oatmeal aka Hot Cereal. Zero Sugars, complex carbs, some healthy fats and a tiny amount of protein.

if you're looking for a cold cereal, I would say Fiber one, or the South Beach Diet whole grain crunch, kashi good friends, or some type of granola given it isn't just sugar-laden...

I miss my cold cereal!

Oatmeal, but if you mean cold boxed cereal, then Kashi Go-Lean (13g protein, 10g fiber). It IS soy protein, so I'll probably get flamed for that, but I don't see much problem with soy as long as you don't use it for a large portion of your protein intake. Fiber One is a good one, not much protein there, but 14g fiber.

Cocoa Puffs with a splash of half and half to make it extra creamy...

just kidding, there is alot of whole grain options around that have little sugar and alot of vitamins.

If you eat soy protein, then Hi protein crunch by Back to Nature has an even better protein to carb ratio than Go lean. Its a lil high in sugar though, but it tastes alot better.

I still champion oatmeal with fresh fruit.

For healthiest cold cereal, i would have to go with Kashi GoLean as well. Although there are lots of healthy whole grain alternatives out there now too.

For best cold cereal, hands down Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but thats besides the point.

For somewhat healthy cereal, my fav is Raisin Bran Crunch.

And i don't even like cold cereal that much.

I agree with the Kashi.

I am not a fan of Fiber One because it is sweetened with aspartame.

Look for it to be in the Organic food section - not with the regular cereals.
