View Full Version : Is it ok to alternate Dumbell and Barbell bench for ME day.

Not long started doing Westside, and I don't think I really need to use all the different bench types (board, floor etc) for the Max Effort lift as my overall lack of strength is my weakness, but I also want to keep making progress, so is it ok to swap alternate barbell and dumbbell bench press every 3-4 weeks?
I'm doing heavy exercises for support muscles (tri's, lats etc) on both DE and ME days.

Just follow the template. The various exercises help increase your strength as well as keep variety in your workouts. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

what ever you do just lift heavy weights it doesnt matter if its west side southside of eastside just lift heavy freaking weights less talk more chalk
