Alright so I was just wondering, cuz of my scheduling a normal eating schedule on a day to day basis gets kind of hard... Instead of eating 500 cals under maintenance per day, what would happen if I put the defecit on a 2 day split (one day i eat 750 less the next day i eat 250 less, or 1000 and 0) ? Anyonedone this?

I do.

My average is 1,870 calories - four high days at 1,966 calories and three at
1,741 calories.

(I THINK I got the math right - sigh, math is so complicated ...)

1,996 X 4 = 7,984 (four high days)
1,741 X 3 = 5,223 (three lower days)

7,984
5,223 +
-------
13,207 (total weekly caloric intake)

13,207 / 7 = 1886.7142857142857142857142857143

1886.7142857142857142857142857143 Calories per day (average over 7 days)

Err... sorry?

1,966 X 4 = 7,864 (four high days)
1,741 X 3 = 5,223 (three lower days)

7,864
5,223 +
-------
13,087 (total weekly caloric intake)

13,087 / 7 = 1869.5714285714285714285714285714

1869.5714285714285714285714285714 Calories per day (average over 7 days)

You Guys/Gals are starving yourselves.

4000 calories per day normal.

2500 calories at the moment cos I'm on a starvation diet.

Um ... mikesbytes, my maintenance is 2200. I'm cutting on just under 1900 - hardly starvation for my whopping 114 lbs of lbm ...

:withstupi...the amount of cals you diet/bulk on is wholly dependent on your metabolism and your lbm.

I'd thought I'd lost 2kg in 2 weeks, but then I did the maths 1kg = 7,700 calories (debatable), which means 1,100 calories per day. No way.
