Hey guys, I'm new to the site and new to weightlifting. I have just started the WBB1 routine this week, and I have been trying to eat as much as possible. However, I am concerned about gaining much fat while bulking. What should I do in terms of diet/exercise in order to mantain around a 10-12% BF, while still putting on lean muscle?

My stats:
6'2''
173 lbs.
12% BF

First of all, welcome to Wanna Be Big.

Here is what I suggest you do:

Read the "stickies" in the Diet/Nutrition section. I have posted these for you. Follow the links:

A little fat can be expected in a caloric excess or "bulk". You'll find that this is worth it in the long run when you put on more lean muscle mass. Stick to clean foods. Clean foods are outlined in "What a Bodybuilder Eats".

Some use different forms of cardio to minimize fat gain during a bulk. I personally do not do cardio for various reasons. However, you may find it to your advantage if you want to keep fat gain to a minimum. Here is an article by Wanna Be Big member "Built" on how to do cardio - if you must:

I would also check out the "Online Journal" section of this forums for other ideas or best practices.

Good luck and welcome to Wanna Be Big!
