Started bulking about 5 weeks ago. As you can see it doesn't take me long to put some body fat on, but my waist is still 33-34 inches. Bulking is hard for me because I used to be so overweight and I am terrified that I 'll end up fat again........

Current Stats:
Height : 5'8.5"
Weight :199 lbs.
Waist 33-34"

I have short arms and am not that tall to begin with so I look bigger than what I am. I haven't measured in a couple weeks, but I think my stats are as follows:

Chest : 47.5"
Arms : left-17", right-16 3/4"
legs : lagging of course but I am working on them (lol)

Oh, and my goal is maybe 210-215 while keeping my waist at 34" or below. Which is getting hard to do now. I was goign to cut for the summer, but due to work I won't be going to the beach with my family this year so I figure I might as well keep on bulking.

Arms are big, yes... but your lats stand out to me. Do you fly to work? Nice work man.

Thanks man. And I always thought of my lats as a weak point. My middle traps area (??) is lacking a bit also as far as thickness goes. I want that 3-dimensional look to my back.

Facially you look like a clone of this guy I know. He can't be much more than 90lbs though. Always wondered what he'd look like big.

lol at 90 lbs. I don't think I have been 90 lbs. since I was in the 2nd grade. haha. Thanks for the comments. Now if I can just get my legs up to par.

I envy your arms man! Hey it looks like you got some good size on you. You should try and do some shoulder shrugs so it does'nt appear that your neck is small. You look great man!:nod:

Looking pretty good. Arms are huge - traps look like a potential weak point although the angle doesn't exactly favour them. It might just be that your arms are so big everything else appears smaller!

Thanks again for all the comments. Yes my traps are a weak spot. I just started doing power shrugs, and I think I may start doing Hise shrugs also. I do have some traps from the heavy deadlifts, but the traps aren't near what I want them to be.

Dyersburg, TN huh? Yepp. That would be me dude. I typically am in the gym 4-5 days a week, but it's always at different times. With a wife and 2 kids it is hard to get in there at the same time every day. I just do what I can - when I can.

I've been lifting off and on for about 5 years now. I have to put my family first so my progress isn't really what it should be for lifting for 5 years, but it's a lot better than nothing at all. :)

I used to do 3 days a week alternating every other day with Push Pull routine and some extra arm work thrown in there mainly focusing on the big strong lifts like squats, bench, deadlift, military press, dips, chin ups.

Five weeks ago I switched it up to a 4-5 day split
Day 1 - Chest
Day 2 - Back
Day 3 - Shoulders
Day 4 - Arms
Day 5 - OFF
Day 6 - Legs
Day 7 - Off

My workouts generally take 30-40 minutes. If the gym is empty then they can go even faster than that. I try to use high intensity now. Just get in, bust my a$$, and get out so I can go eat and hang with the family.

oh please post pics of your legs, and pleasseeeee tell me they are really skinny!!

(I doubt it at 199 though)
