1. I have this buddy who drinks no pop or any of that and says that caffeine stunts the muscle growth. T/F
2. If I go buy protein at GNC, would you recommend any certain types? / reasons

some of the biggest guys i know are caffeine junkies!
do not buy protein from GNC, its overpriced therem and the people there will try to sell you some of the most expensive ones. check for places online. often times you can find the same product that are at GNC for 40-60% cheaper!

Yeah.. I'm lookin to somehow bulk up... 6'2.5, 145... Eating alot, but not packin on weight

Caffiene is actually a powerful muscle stimulant for athletes and active people. Olympic athletes will fail a drug test if they have too much caffiene in their system before competition because of this. Caffiene only becomes a dieuretic for inactive people.

Bottom line. You're not eating enough.
Just buy whatever is cheapest in a flavour you think you will like.

also i forgot to mention, the protein shakes will not help if you are not eating enough along with taking them.

It inhibits ADH.
It's still a dieuretic.
