i would just say eat loads of healthy foods, and some junk foods, workout intensely 3 days a week, and rest....
stick to the basics for strength, size, power, coordination, and pretty much any goal can be accomplished by a bodybuilder, olympic weight lifter, strongman, or powerlifter....
monday- squats( front or back)
sumo deads or stiff deads
olympic cleans
plyometrics- box jumps
ab work and more ab work
wednesday- bench press- incline or flat
push press
bent over rows
pullups
(plyometrics) light box jumps aimed towards conditioning
friday- squats- front or back
good mornings
pullthroughs
olympic cleans,
box jumps( plyometrics)
abs and more abs
sprinting and such can be worked on 2 or 3 days a week and do some swimming or light joggin for cardio. obviously you have football drills so factor that in too. if this is too much volume back off, if you can take more add some stuff...
sets are 3-5 for the basic stuff like squats deads bench and cleans with reps around 5 for everything( cleans do sets of 2 and 3) everything else do a little higher in reps and moderate volume, increase weights when necessary and of course practice football!
