Anyone tried it? With all the water we're supposed to get, 5 grams of protein per bottle sounds kinda nice.

definetely not worth the price, i looked at this stuff the other day at wal mart. i bought a bottle, didnt taste that good, and IMO 5g of protein isnt worth the price. just drink regular water for free, and drink a scoop of nitrean...it has 24g of protein, i dont see the logic in buying this stuff.

Not all of us can just throw in a scoop of nitrean all the time.

pound for pound, buying a jug of nitrean is cheaper than buying that water

That is just a gimmick. 5 GRAMS?? I probably get 5 grams of protein just by smelling my farts.

All the special k "high protein" products are pretty weak and just trying to start a fad diet imo.

I get more protein in a 40 cent cup of yogurt.

5grams? Doesn't seem like it makes a dent.
Also, what kind of protein is it? From what source is the protien derived, and of what quality?

5 grams is still silly and should not warrant paying more for water.

i believe its whey protein.

I think it's whey too so I was trying to figure out what the consistency would be like. With whey protein it's probably more like a shake than actual water.

Not if you are unprepared.

So what's the point of this?

The idea is to satisfy a craving. The 5grams of protein is to give you something to satiate hunger. They're thinking the flavored water will take care of the craving.

Bear in mind these products are made for women.

Water by itself satiates hunger. I don't know what a measly 5 grams will do. I guess if it has ANY affect, that's ok...but I still don't think it's worth the extra cost.

Water never really satiates my hunger for more than 10 minutes or so. . . unless I was really just thirsty instead of hungry, which happens.

For a 225lb male, not much. For a 120lb chick, I bet its a lot more filling than just water.

When I was 275 I found 20grams of whey in water quite satiating.

The cost is justified in that it's tasty snack used to avoid a 500 cal muffin, etc.

That's a good point. I saw the commercial for this and thought "What the hell is this?" But I guess if you only needs 90-100 g of protein, 5 g is a good start. Have a couple of bottles a day and it would probably help a lot.

Its marketed towards women and is part of the Special K diet that is proving so popular now. 5 grams is better than no grams for women who don't get enough protein.
