Why don't you just eat a tomato? If that is not convenient enough, you could buy a box of cherry tomatos.

I like to eat a few tomatos before a morning lift. Lots of potassium to help your body rehydrate itself after losing water during the night.

yeah...the only time i drink tomato juice is when i'm flying commercial. it's got way too much sodium in it for regular consumption. you'd be better off eating the tomatoes as plornive suggests.

If you do end up drinking tomato juice, get the low sodium kind. It has a decent potassium to sodium ratio. Eating a tomato is better, IMHO --- real whole food. Not as slimy, either.
