Carbs bro without a doubt. Your main goal postworkout is to refill glycogen stores.

it really depends, there's no set rule on what to eat. everyones different, all YOU can do is test out whats better for YOU. i know its not what u wanted to here cause its not a clear cut answer but no one can answer this but you.

just like for 6 weeks eat carbs post workout and then next 6 weeks eat fat....see whats best for you and your goals homez.

thanks big calvin i see your point so far i would have to vote for FAT at post workout i seem to be getting more cut doing it that way and im still maintaining strength if not growing!

carbs post workout seem to make cutting a little harder even with just 20 or 30 grams post workout

carbs not fat. it does not matter wether cutting or bulking.

The purpose of the post-workout meal is to generate the insulin spike, whether it be from high gi or low gi carbs, but fat will not create the spike, so eat carbs post-workout.

hmmm well low gi carbs will not spike, more come to a plateau and then start to decrease.

Though you do want insulin in order to blunt cortisol, the main reason for carbs post workout I would say is to replenish muscle glycogen.

carbs. Simple carbs at that.

Pup and =w= are correct. A small amount of fat in that post-workout meal has been shown to aid in the rapid replenishment of those carbs into the body...but too much will really slow and delay the process of protein and carbs being absorbed.
