Ok I purchased a custom mix from them ( 20% Whey Protein Concentrate, 20% Whey Protein Isolate Cold-Filtration, 30% Egg White Protein, 30% Calcium Caseinate, came out to $7.07 per pound ) and got it in two flavors Premium Very Berry Strawberry & Premium Dutch Chocolate Fudge, I also had them both double flavored ( and yes that is exactly as it sounds, double the flavor, I don't like weak tasteing flavors ).
It mixes perfect, I just throw it in a sealed cup I have shake about 20 seconds and no lumps. With water the I prefer the strawberry flavor, the chocolate is not bad ( the only other chocolate flavor I had was wellements from costco, and its way better than that ) with milk both are even better, the chocolate is just awesome in milk ( have not added peanut butter yet, that is next to try ).

I've used true protein before, for a mix that was pretty much the same as cell tech for about half the price. The only issue I have is my paranoia about whether they put the stuff into the powder like they say they are. I have no basis for this, but for some damned reason, it always stuck in the back of my mind.
Then, I realized that I got taurine in my mix, and that I would be wired all to hell after I drank it, so I finally decided that they must be putting what I ordered into it.

Yeah that crossed my mind as well too.
I've only tried two different brands of proteins, wellements from costco and I tried ON's cookies and cream. The wellements needed a blender to mix ( but it did mix ) I could mix ON's by shaking ( it took a little more time though ). So yeah im impressed so far, I still want to try nitrean, maybe one of these days soon. The difference between good proteins and bad ones is oh so clear to me, and I will spend a little extra to buy a better product from now on.

i still have trueprotein.com protein at home. its not pre mixed. i bought it seperate, which turned out to be a mistake. it didnt mix well with water and a spoon, and adding in flavoring afterward doesnt mask the protein taste very well. thats why i bought a huge batch of nitrean around x-mas. perhaps having them mix it for you changes things, but their new flavors sounded good.

I've never used protein factory ( they do have a very interesting thread about them on BB.com ). I've used true protein twice now, and have been very happy with them.
The first time I bought from them I bought a post workout formula which was 40% whey ion exchange and 60% maltodextrin. It mixes 100% perfect, but i would not order it again. I saw a article on here ( I believe posted by someone from at large ) showing that a protein blend ( different types of proteins ) produced more muscle mass in a test group compared to a group that used whey & BCAA's. That is why next time I would use a mix along with whatever carbs I chose to use.

Nitrean. It has a nearly ideal blend of 3 fractions of whey (isolate, hydrolyzed, and concentrate), casein, and egg proteins.
The biggest and the best use it. It will work for you.

@ Chris - What do you make of this its from TP its called amylocel.
True Protein’s Waxy Maize Starch is derived from natural corn starch and is a food grade modified starch. It is very bland in flavor and has a white fluffy like consistency. We recommend using a shaker or a blender (this is best) to mix this product. Immediate use is recommended as it has a tendency to clump. We have gone through great lengths testing and tweaking our Waxy Maize Starch to be palatable. We have found one that tastes fairly well and functionality wise it is top of the line.
So what’s so special with Waxy Maize in comparison to dextrose or maltodextrin? Many people have used a mix of dextrose and maltodextrin for post workout nutrition for years because it works and is vital for proper glycogen replenishment. Welcome to the new era of post workout nutrition… Waxy Maize Starch. WMS has a much higher molecular weight and a much lower osmolarity rate compared to dextrose or maltodextrin, so what does this mean… Mainly, WMS bypasses the stomach, is absorbed by the intestines and immediately is assimilated; this is all done at a much faster rate than dextrose or maltodextrin, almost double.
WMS can help the absorption rates of many of your favorite supplements like creatine monohydrate, creatine ethyl ester, cell volumization and nitric oxide type supplements, etc. Nutrients like this often times are left in the stomachs harsh acidic environment and degrade absorption rates. WMS helps shuttle these nutrients to bypass the stomach and allow the body to assimilate these nutrients at a much higher rate.
WMS has the ability to replenish the body’s glycogen stores much faster than a mix of maltodextrin or dextrose. This is accomplished again by WMS’s ability to bypass the stomach and go to the intestines for immediate absorption. WMS’s ability to shuttle all these nutrients and starch gives the body an immediate "pump" you can physically feel in your muscles post workout. You will see a much larger, fuller and rounder muscle belly.
Dextrose and maltodextrin can cause water retention and bloating, hence WMS’s popularity with pre contest and contest preparation carbohydrate replenishment. Many dieters choose WMS as their carb of choice as it is sugar free and an ideal source of a long chain complex carbohydrate.

I think it looks like an effective fast-acting carb source.

WMS has been getting a lot of attention lately actually. Especially for pre/during/post nutrition. Many people have been experimenting with different doses and timing of supplementing with it. Seems promising to me.

This whole WMS business is really pissing me off. After living in the dark ages and just having protein + juice post-workout, I FINALLY bought malto+dex, received it YESTERDAY, and now you guys are telling me that's not even what I should be using? This **** better cause cancer.
Edit: I've also been using proteinfactory.com for my Casein. After reading through the entire thread on bodybuilding.com, I am pissed off much more. No wonder I'm not jacked.

maltodextrin makes me vomit. I am just looking for a protein blend, I will add my own dextrose to it.
