View Full Version : Am Eating Struggle!

I'm waking about 6am and since I eat so late, I have ZERO appetite......so I pack my meals for the day, shower, get dressed, drive to work. I get in my bcaas, vitamins, etc as soon as I wake, but not eating my first meal until about 730.......is this a severe problem or does it really not matter?

just pound a shake which would take you the same amount of time to make as coffee in the morning, that should hold you till 7:30, then eat your meal. Pack the meals ahead the night before to make sure they are substantial enough.
Also, with the shake in the morn, it will be just like small sized but calorie packed meal.
I do this regularly when i have an early class, then eat later, has been working great.

I do that pretty much routinely.

But you consume BCAA's instead? hmmm

Either way one hour more isn't going to be that big of a deal.

Right I am taking my bcaas and all my vitamins and then getting my **** together going to work.....by that time, an hour passed and I'm hungry......much much rather do that than force down a meal just to get it in...

Easy extra calories. If you're getting enough protein and calories, though, you're right... you don't need it.

Maybe boil some eggs the night before and eat a few when you first wake up and then have breakfast at 730....or make oatmeal or have a piece of fruit even.

Easy extra calories. If you're getting enough protein and calories, though, you're right... you don't need it.Well you do have to consider that he has not eaten in 7-9 hours, but during that time he wasn't using nearly as much energy as he is when he is awake. This could lead to more muscle break down, which is why doing empty stomach cardio in the morning does more harm then good.

#1 if done properly, nothing beats am cardio.....number 2, it's the same principle by waiting an hours...I make sure to get all my vit and sesp, bcaas......that wshould DEF hold me over till 730........no muscle loss! Maybe even gain as now your body isnt being FORCED to work when it doesnt want t o (early) and just soaks uo the nutrients 1 hour later.....

Calories in < Calories out. You're body will "soak up" the same amount of nutrients after training regardless of it being AM or PM training.

am having a problem.......My first meal I am getting in at 730, same with 10oo meal and 130....then due to work, I am able to train right after and dont get done until 430. SO 3 meals pretraining.

Then I have my bcaas, shower and get back to the office. There I have two pieces of ww toast, a can of tuna, and a nice size salad. SO I'm getting my veggies and protein in. THEN..........I have time for another meal which is

and then I crash immidiately afterwards....obviously short on cals, I wake up at midnight starving so I usually ave a little cc and some veggie.......assuming not enough cals??? Im thinkin Im short about 600-800 cals.....do I increase my 1st meal? Toss in a banana and some peanut butter????
