Hey, I have been trying to conquer this feat for about a year now, and I finally did it, and I'm glad I did it at age 17.

Very impressive! must make deadlifting a lot easier when you don't have to worry about your grip!

So are you just holding onto the raised portion around the center hole? If so, that is damn impressive! Congrats!

Yup, that's what he's doing. It takes a hell of a grip to pull that off.

Good job man. Now you can put a couple of 2.5lb plates inside of the 45 :evillaugh

Chalk? Gloves? Anything to help your grip?

That is crazy. I tried it out, pinching a 25lber and it was really hard. Nice work.

Chalk only. I have 9 days before I turn 18, and I would like to get the double 45 hub lift (one in each hand) before that happens.

That is insanely impressive. I've tried it with 25 lb plates before and it was tough. Takes some crazy finger strength.

I'm better at pinch grip involving the thumb, like holding two plates together smooth sides out. My best is holding two 25's together with one hand for 1 minute 11 seconds. I've also done two 35's for 11 seconds. Chalk only.
