Hey I just got in my Opticen. I really like it but when I blend it, it comes out really thick. Is it supposed to be like that or is there anything I can do to make it better?

Thanks for any help.

Just use half the amount of powder with the recommended amount of liquid. That makes a perfect shake for my tastes.

Wouldn't half the amount mean half of the nutritional values advertised?

Could he maybe drink two shakes for the same amount of protein etc.?

or to rephrase what chris said, just double the amount of water that way, same amount of protein

Right, sorry, what I meant was half as much powder and just drink two of the thinner shakes.

Or you could just divide the nutritional values in half and drink single shakes like that. Pick your poison =)

Yea, I think I might just try that.

Thanks for the help.

if you are bulking, add some olive oil, like 2 tbsp. Makes the shakes slide right down.:)

I don't know if your misunderstood me, I'm saying would the Olive oil really make the shake it less thick.

Sorry for any confusion.

I'm sure it improves the mouthfeel though. Probably helps it slip down easier.

Try it.

Meal Replacements tend to be thicker than protein shakes due to the carbs.

I tend to add just about 1/3 more water than I would a Nitrean shake and drink it a little thicker. Or, you could do as Chris suggests and water it down so its more like Nitrean. I prefer to drink it in one shaker cup though ;)

Yeah I noticed Opticen is pretty thick but it seems to make me feel full after one serving (2 cups milk+1 serving opticen), which was good on my cut.

Ahh why didn't I think of this. I tried Opticen once with milk and recommended usage and it was like sludge (no offense.) It has been collecting dust ever since. But not anymore

I much prefer water to be honest, its also going to be thinner with water in it.

Yea, I divide the servings into two glasses of milk. It was alot better.
