View Full Version : Pre meet excercise planning

I was suppose to have a meet today, but we got their, and it was cancelled till next Saturday!
They forget to tell some people OMG!!!!
Anyway, i had my lifting planned pretty well as this was my first meet, and would have been first time maxing in about 3 months. I had a full week off, pretty much doing no lifting at all.
I wasn't sure if this was alright for me or not, because i usually do well with less rest.. anyway.... i did some lifts at the gym today, because i was amped for some heavy lifting. I got all the lifts at the weight that i had expected, and could possibly go another 10 pounds on Bench and Deads.
I only did 2 heavy sets, didn't bother trying the third heavier set.

Question is, how should i lift this week??
I think rest will hinder my strength, but i'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Side note, Immortal did progressive overload. I did the Conjuate method, so I can re-peak this week..... :)
