I have heard so many things on Ankle, wrist weights beeing bad for your body, but i heard they are very good. As a football player, our body already takes a serious amount of punishment, but would theese help at all? like when you are playing backyard ball with your boys or just running stadiums?

Joints take longer to build up than regular muscle fibers, but if you work them, they will definitely build up over time. Some people hurt their joints because they go too hard because their muscles can take it but their joints havent caught up. I think its specifically your tendons in your joints that take longer to strengthen. But if you work them, they will build. I could use lighter weights on them though. For example your rotator cuff you dont want to go heavy on.

I would say a weight vest would probably be a smarter idea than ankle and wrist weights. http://www.karatedepot.com/weight-vest.html something like that.
