im 5'9

i know i should bulk.. but its beach season soo...

Do u think i could just do a short bulk.. in the span of a .. month? then cut again? i unno...

heres a little bit of progress shots, along with recent ones to help answer the question

December 28th


just finshed minor bulking.. my highest BF% in a long while

jan 28th half way thru cutting

and yes i got a hair cut lol..

What should i do?

Definately bulk.

holy **** kid! looking real thick especially for a 13 year-old! you're by far the biggest 13 year old i've seen :thumbup:

i'd definitely say clean bulk. you're 13 and you're pretty lean so imagine how you'd look with your current conditioning + 10-20 lbs of lean mass.

by the way are you sure you're 5'9'' 180 lbs? because i'm 5'9'' as well currently at 160 lbs and i look a lot thicker :hide:

just lift heavy, lift smart and eat a lot of good healthy foods and u'll grow... no need to go on a full out bulk when ur thirteen

I'd say even less than that ^^. I'm 160 at 5'9'' and he is WAY leaner than me. I'd say somewhere around 140-150ish. Lookin good though man. Keep eating and lift heavy.

Pretty decent size for a 13 year old. Weight looks to be more like 145-155 though.

Anyways, like some others have said, at your age there is no need to worry about cutting/bulking. Just eat healthy, lift heavy (with proper form) and get plenty of sleep.

yeah i get that all the time.. im not 180..

But i am.

I unno why im probly taller then 5'9... its ben a while and im at the age ware i grow quick. Ive been attempting to bulk for the last little bit. its not going that great. I actully took this week off becuase i was sore ect ect

At 13, don't 'bulk' or 'cut'. Eat a healthy, balanced diet (I'm sure you eat a lot, keep doing that). Since you are still growing and are so young, getting good nutrition is far more important than trying to 'bulk' or 'cut'

You'll end up pretty much 'bulking' until you are much older.

At this age, don't stress details.

Sorry, I should certainly note you look great. Also, at 13 with that size you're going to be bigger than all your friends anyway. It's not like you're going to get fat so, just eat.

Thats the only thin worth saying.

Ive never maxxed out a sqaut or deadlift.

Ive done 6 sets of dead lift in my intier life.

I just started working my back.

yupp i just weighed m self, like 10 mins ago. 176.

180? You serious? Some weights can be pretty decieving but still..... you dont look near 180. Pretty big legs or what?

im losen weight since those posts im about 175 now. But yeah i kno i dont look it aha

I do have big legs thoe. But i dont think there that big to make me weigh that much more. Still 175 no lie.
