I have talked to some guys on my team that say this stuff is pretty good but i was wondering if anyone on here has ever tried it and can tell me the results and what it exactly does...or if it just garbage?

Most people on this site don't believe in products that claim to boost NO levels so it's doubtful you'll get any suggestions for a similar product.

With that being said, I've heard good things about Nitrix by BSN. I've never personally tried but I have a buddy that absolutely loves it. He had to cut back on it because the high levels of arginine were making him break out with cold soars, though

What? Medically, that doesn't make sense. HSV1 (herpes simplex virus 1)causes cold sores.

I've tried NO2 and Nitrix by BSN last summer and summer before. IMO it is a waste of money, but Nitrix is better than NO2. Bascially all I found it was good for was an hour long pump.

If you want to get supplements...I suggest just getting some basic creatine and protein. That's all you really need assuming your diet in in line.

i am taking creatine and protien, along with multi vitamens, just trying to find if anything else works.

the cold sore thing is true, your buddy needs to supplement L-Lysine to combat the side affect, or jus stop taking too much arginine

yeah i am going to stick to my creatine and protien, i also have mutlivitamens (mens sport) which i like a lot. I am also going to get some powdered gluamine and mix it with the creatine. But....are the GNC performance products really good? thats what i am using...but like...does gnc creatine stack up with cell tech creatine and such? Oh...i have some friends taking NO-Explode...i am thinking about using it...but it is so damn expensive...but i see the results from them using it and its kinda obvious it works..

Do a quick google search... high levels of arginine have been linked to increased herpes outbreaks

Valley for creatine, just get the Atlarge stuff, its cheap and does what it's supposed to. The no xplode only has 2g of creatine per serving if i remember correctly, so you'd have to take 2 and a half servings to get your daily 5 grams, its a waste.
