Muscle milk is something that i stay away from. I have tried it and it tasted so damn good..i mean...tasted just like a milk shake but when i looked on the ingrediants i saw that muscle milk has a lot of fat in it. Is that good enough reason to stay away from the wonderful taste? But...the fat is what gives it its taste. I have stuck to whey protien...has anyone else tried it and made the saem decision.

muscle milk is a meal replacement powder. if you use it for meal replacement, i guess it could have benefits. not my favorite MRP, try opticen. also, fat is not going to make you fat...excess calories will make you fat. the high fat and protein is what gives it high calories, allowing you to gain weight.

Notice that the fat is of the unsaturated variety, thus is burns unwanted stored fat, promotes lean muscle mass, lubricates your joints, etc. Unsaturated fat has so many desirable capabilities it is unreal.

For instance, when you discover how much fat is in a slice of salmon you may cringe, however this is the "good" or omega fats.....you want this, brother!

MM is a good supp...I have used it for years, man.

Saturated fat is also important to overall health...though most of your fat should come from EFAs.

You may be confusing "burning fat" with "improves muscle insulin sensitivity", which is, indeed, a quality of the EPA/DHA form of omega 3 found in salmon.

But I'd like to hear more about the fat burning qualities of unsaturates.

I've tried muscle milk and yes, it tastes good. If the fat content is too high for you, the new Labrada RTD's have half the fat and dont contain any sugar. They also taste better IMHO.

Ask me about microwaving cats for fun and profit! (j/k!!!)

OT: I like Muscle Milk but it doesn't mix as nicely as Nitrean does.

I've had it for breakfast everyday for about a month now. It doesnt keep me full for very long (i'm bulking) but I don't like cramming tons of cals right when I wake up.

its a pretty good amount of cals with skim milk ~700 with 2 scoops, plus the fact that it tastes amazing. i had a scoop in milk last night right before bed. chocolate mint tasted like melted mint chip ice cream.
