Can someone assist this...this is what i got from my stats today...


3 Glasses of Orange Juice (330 Cals)

Wendy's
Lemonade (Medium) 11 cals
Spicy Chicken Sandwhich 480 cals
Frenchfries 417 cals

5 Slices of Pizza (1 Peporoni 1 surpreame) 1680 + 420 cals
4 Buffalo wings 1680 cals
Total Cals: 5018

well...i have learned a lesson from counting my calories...i know that i need to be careful what i eat and learn how to count what i burn...because what i am getting off of fitday is....

after 2.5 hours of football + weightlifting.. 2780 cals
Lifestyle 2055
Basal 2479.6 cals (bmr)
total Burned: 7314.6

Does this seem right to anyone?

Dont use fitday for determining how much you are burning. Use it to track cals and then use your weight change to determine if your eating enough or too much/little.

well how do i determine how much i would burn? if you are suppose to burn more calories a day then you take in. Calorie king is a little bit more in depth then fitday... but i am trying to figure it out. So if i use my fit day to use with weight change...how do i know if i am getting to much or to little...?

by tracking your weight in conjunction with your diet, if what your eating is causing you to gain weight/fat then eat less/healthier, if your losing then thats your goal right?

Basically you've skipped a step.

First you need to determine your maintenance calories. You do this by tracking calories at a time when you are maintaining weight. Then you can determine a fat loss intake based on your maintenance.

Exactly. This is your baseline diet. From there you can plan bulking and cutting diets. Of course keep in mind that as you gain lean mass your maintenance goes up.
