Ano Turtiainen's good mornings on a cambered bar: http://www.gometal.com/videot/training/07_03_15_METAL_Gym_training_GM.wmv

Not the greatest ROM ever, but DAMN that's a lot of weight!!!

like you say not a big ROM but, I'm not telling them there wrong. Sometimes just handling heavy wt means more than complete ROM, I'm sure they do some fuller ROM stuff with light wt. What other exercises do you use that bar for?

deffinatly a cool movie, that last one was over 800 lbs, but the ROM is pretty small, any benefits except for overload?

Guys squat with it if their shoulders are beaten up, which is one of the reasons that crew is doing Good Mornings with it.

Others bench press with it, too. It allows further than normal ROM. Sometimes they utilize boards to fine tune the extended ROM.

Yeah, takes the alot of the static load off the shoulders. I should be getting mine in a few weeks :)

Changes the center of gravity.

Understand that guys who are training for an equipped squat probably need that kind of overload a lot more than someone who is squatting raw in comps.

What's the benefit of having a wider stance GM? I'm going to have to give that a try.

You can do more weight, plus it simulates the squat better. I find my stability to be better with a wider stance GM.
