from a health and bulking perspective, which is better for you in your protein shakes?

It really doesn't matter all that much. Natty Peanut butter has a lot of added benifits being nuts and all, but Olive Oil has less Saturated Fat. Just go with what tastes better, or is cheaper if your on a tight budget.

personally, i do both if i have the time; if not, olive oil is much faster and easier to mix in. 2 cups milk, 2 scoops protein, 2 tbs olive oil, mix it together real quick, and your done.

Olive oil to me tastes like ass in a protein shake. It does make it easier to chug though.

it doesn't taste good at all, i'll give you that. but if you dont breathe, and just chug it all at once, you really dont taste it. you do get a bit of olive oil taste, but its really not that much.

Just look at what fits in your macros, if the carbs, minimal as they maybe, make you go over the limit, then go with olive oil. If you can fit the PB in, then Id go with it (tastes 100x better)

as far as saturated fat goes, again you have to look at your daily allowance. 1/3rd of your fat should be saturated as is.

Hmmm... 100g of dry roasted peanuts (grind 'em and you got PB, use your imagination) has about 50g of fat: 6.893g from saturates, 24.64g from monos, 15.694g from polys.

50g of olive oil has 50g of fat: 6.904g from saturates, 36.48 from monos, and 5.261g from polys.

Not sure why you say PB has more saturates ...
