If you want something that tastes good, melt a snickers bar in the microwave with butter and honey.

If you want something that you probably should be eating instead, have a handful of almonds/walnuts. Follow it up with some cottage cheese.

I'm not quite sure what you mean at all - you want recipes of things that taste good? Is that right?

it is nasty! but cover it up with some splenda and natty pb and it yields a good snack w/ a decent amount of protein and healthy fats

This is damn near a weekly question. I know because I've told people beef jerky a thousand times.

I don't know how healthy it is, but for a quick snack I mix a can of tuna in with one of those single serve mac and cheese cups. Tastes good to me and its portable and fast enough for me to eat on the way to class or in a few minutes.

assuming your on a bulk...

Tuna+Mayo+Cottage Cheese... i just eat that plain sometimes.. has like 45-55g of protein. The tuna+mayo doesn't make the cottage cheese taste like anything. Sounds nasty, but tastes delicious to me..

But dont go too crazy with the tuna, i make sure i only have this snack once every 3 days... because of http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2007/02/19/tuna-testing.html

peanuts, bananas. I usually have a couple of teaspoons of whey between each meal to keep me going as well. Prawns are good too.

I like 2% and 4% cottage cheese but I eat no fat cottage cheese. To make it taste good I put in 1 to 2 tablespoons worth of sugar free strawberry jelly. It tastes similar to yogurt that way.

1 8-inch tortilla
2 ounces thin sliced turkey or ham
2 Tablespoons shredded cheese
1/4 cup shredded lettuce
1 Tablespoon raisins
Lowfat mayonnaise, cream cheese, or margarine

Give each person a tortilla. Have them spread with mayonnaise, margarine or cream cheese. Then layer on the meat, cheese, lettuce and raisins. Roll up and enjoy.

This snack could also be made using a slice of bread or an English muffin.
