I started having them thinking they were healthy because of the zero fat and high protein, but I've noticed the 14g of sugar. Is this the type of added sugar that would trigger the release of insulin and cause my body to store fat?

I'm trying to cut, so should I cut it out of my diet?

Worry more about total cals, and macros. Probably not the cleanest food you can eat, but 14g of carbs isn't much. If you like them target it around your workout either before or after.
