Smoked the crap outta the 750 but barely moved in my Ace suit as I have come to the conclusion that I am holding too much bodyweight. Time to shed some poundage. This suit will rock once I get down to 308.

I got a single DB handle custom made for me. It's bloody perfect. It weighs 20lbs, and can easily hold over 300lbs on it. None of this light pussy dumbell s**t anymore!!

You gotta come and train in New West some time.

I tried a 12" box squat for the first time last week. That's definitely no joke, and it's definitely as low as I can squat. I don't think I could get 405 on that yet. A few reps with 315 was hard. Nice work on the pulling, too.

I had the worst damn stomach flu in the world from sunday until wednesday. I unfortunately had to miss 2 sessions, but took the GFH approach and force fed myself bagels, scones and lot's of Met-Rx. Often times I was puking my brains out, and chasing the puke with a nice cold vanilla Met-Rx. I force fed myself enough that I didn't lose any weight at all.

Todays session I basically just picked up where I left off.

I end up losing weight easily, then packing on mass right away. I can tell my test levels are high because my appetite is out of control. It's rough living the GFH lifestyle.

strong as hell in here tomThanks bro's. Hand is good. Strength/grip has never been an issue, it's always the skin that goes first. That's why I only do 6-7 pulls on deadlift day.



Had super duper brutal food poisoning on tuesday. Ate a Quizno's sub on tuesday for dinner, then starting @ 12:30am until roughly 3:00pm wednesday I was consumed by the most violent virus ever! I'm guessing I lost about 6-8lbs just from puking. I was finally able to eat a solid meal today, but I'll be skipping the benching tonight as a precaution.

For christ's sake, don't touch the chicken @ Quizno's!!!!!

I'm not training on saturdays anymore. Strictly mon/wed/fri lifting, with sprints and throwing on the weekends. You should come out to the highland games on June 28th, we're gonna be throwing there.

Thanks Sid. Think of a clean vs. a power clean. It's virtually the same thing with a regular full snatch and a power snatch. I'm snapping it up as fast as possible with no full overhead squat.

I'm not quite at 405 yet, but I should get up there pretty soon. I just tested them for the first time. I'll give 'er a little more tomorrow and see what happens.

Hip snatches look good, too.Thanks bro. They are very tough to do, but extremely benefitial to throwing. Definitely making me more explosive.

I'm done with powerlifting. The politics were getting to me, and it was simply not fun anymore. If I had the time and the money to compete in the States, I would do it in a heart beat. But the feds in Canada are brutal. Throwing has always been my passion anyways. I'm still gonna hit 'er hard in the gym, but throwing will always be #1.
