Hi,

I've had a quick search for this but can't find anything about my question.

Basically, everyone states that you should keep away from foods with high sugar content (rightly so) and milk is considered really good when bulking.

However, all the carbs in milk are sugar.

I am trying to bulk and want to drink about 4 pints a day. Is all that sugar good, or am I just misreading the info on the label?

Milk sugar is lactose, which is comprised of glucose and galactose. I don't see the problem, unless you're lactose intolerant. It would be bad if it was all sucrose. Normal table sugar (sucrose) is comprised of glucose and fructose. Fructose is the one you want to avoid large amounts of.

I drink over a gallon a day. Milk makes my stomach happy.
