So its 88 days until summer officially begins and I'm focusing on cutting 100% from now till then (and further but this is sort of the initial "phase" of it). I'll spare the whole hard ass not backing down attitude I've used in the first post of my previous 2 journals. Its time to **** or get off the pot, put up or shut up and this time my dedication/actions/progress will speak for me.

I'm tired of being so fat, tired of having to wear clothes from wal-mart because thats all that will fit me and tired of looking like I do when I don't HAVE to look like this. I've been tired of it for so long, but after losing nearly 55 pounds I've discovered that just being sick of it isn't enough... not nearly enough.

As far as strength goes, for the time being, I could give a **** less if I don't gain a single pound on any movements for the duration of this cut. I'm not quite as strong at 265 as I was at 320 but I look a lot better and I have a feeling once I eat at or above maintenance for a few weeks that the strength will come right back.

I estimate that at 265 pounds I'm just north of 30% bodyfat. I want to drop to 20-22% in the next 88 days at the very least which I estimate will take about 20-25 pounds of fat, not sure exactly how close I am with that estimation.

I maintain at around 3000 calories, so I usually get in about 2000 per day. I may go with 1800 per day if after the first month I don't feel the changes have been good enough. I'll also be ordering 20 pounds of ON whey and I'll use 4 shakes per day. When that runs out after 77 of the 88 days I'll buy more even if I can only afford 5 pounds. That will give me 96 grams of protein extra each day and will go a good ways in cleaning up my diet.

Ultimately by this winter I'd like to be 230 pounds @ 15% body fat. Which means I'll need to shed 35 pounds of fat and gain 10 pounds of muscle the next 8 months. Shouldn't be too much of a problem provided I stay focused and do what I need to do for the vast majority of those 8 months.

Yesterday was a crazy day all wrapped up in itself. So I didn't make it to the gym but did at least get up to the track and got 2 miles in. Would have done three but my friend just couldn't do it and he wanted to quit at 1 mile, I pushed him for another and then I said we could go... =/

Next time I'm driving myself over, he can go when he's ready and I'll go when I'm done.

Todays a chest day, probably some light cardio. I'll also weigh in today.

Been eating exactly 1800-1900 calories the last two days and plan to stay in that range.

You're eating nearly 50-60% of your maintenance? That sounds like starvation hell. Lifting hard and heavy?

Nice work on the running, I haven't done cardio in years so I don't know if i could even finish a lap around the track. I Think you should be pretty satisfied eating 1800-2000 clean cals a day.

Yea Im eating roughly 2/3rds of my maintance right now. Don't wanna go too low and have my stupid body think I'm starving to death but don't wanna cut too slowly either. Aiming for about 1.5 pounds per week maybe a tad higher, I'd be happy with 1.5 pounds of fat lost per week though.

Cardio is a lot easier at 265 then it was at 320 ironically.

2000 cal at 265...man thats rough dude. I have serious issues keeping my diet at 2700 (maint 3200)

I've been around, I've been plugging but I've also started enjoying life a little more. Weathers nicer outside so even though I may not post I'm still lifting/jogging/cutting but I'm also spending more time out of the house and with alyshia.

I'm more pleased today with what I've seen in the mirror then I have been in a while. No new pics for a while though, I'm still a weak fatty.

Official weight as of 5 P.M. today in the gym: 262 pounds in clothes no shoes. Goal is 240 pounds by June 21st 2007 clothed but no shoes. If I can hit 240 by summer I'll take a much more milder approach and maintain for 2-3 months and then start another cut over the winter.

I put on a pair of pants I haven't been able to wear for over 5 years and they fit me better now then they ever have. That gets me jacked to the extreme.

Did 20 minuets on the stair stepper, whoops your ass real good and worked up one hell of a sweat. Diet needs worked on, but its an ongoing battle and I'm winning more then I'm losing right now.. slow subbtle tweaks and I'll be fine.

keep at it buddy.... I lost 80 pounds in 3 months so anything is possible.... I didnt do it the most healthy way so I did gain some back. I seen some of your pictures, but ive also noticed you are a strong kid.... stay determined and youll make your goals

I've dropped 58 pounds in about 5 months time, going for a slower but sure way to not have loose skin and keep as much muscle/strength as possible. Going for 8 pounds of fat per month or so, I don't think that will be very hard for the next 25-30 or so pounds.

Todays session is back/bi's/shoulders.

Some updates.

I've injured my hand and re kindled the old injury from Toys R Us around last december. I got my hand caught in a lock load strap (area right inbetween pointer and thumb) and the bone in my hand beneath the pinky isn't taking weight too good at the moment.

So for the rest of the summer I'm going to lift moderately (above 50% of my 1RM's at least but no more then 80% of any lifts put the load on the wrists/hands. So basically the only thing I'll be going heavy heavy on is squats, keeping it moderate for all back/chest/arm work.

I'll get a weigh in and new measurements tommorow. But I estimate I'm around 265 now and want to drop to 245 by summer time (june 21st). The dickbag training partner I've has all but ended our friendship through some of the bull**** thats been going on lately so he'll soon be out of the road if he keeps it up.

Just enjoying life and the weather too much to bother with the computer much at all, but still training and at least keeping the diet to the point where I'm not gaining. I can still hit 245 by june 21st so thats good enough for me and by my next birthday I want to be 220. That puts me down 100 pounds in one year which will be one of the biggest accomplishments of my lifetime!

Peace out WBB, I'll be checking in atleast 3 times per week... but probably not every day.

Thanks all I'll try to heal up soon and keep getting it done. The friend has all but ended our friendship of over seven years due to me finally facing some facts about him, but he also takes for granted that I'll continue to put up with his **** and I won't.


Did half an hour of cardio today, no weights as the hand was horrid. Spent the rest of the evening at my girls house enjoying the nice weather, loaded to the gills with aleeve.

I saw the sports doc last week and he flat out told me that the anti-inflammatory drugs like aleeve should be avoided in our cases because they actually slow down the healing processes...Just a note bro.

Been doing cardio, keeping on with the plan but the hand is only about 80% ATM. I should be able to hit up a leg session monday and be ready for a chest session on tuesday. Holding at about 265
