I have been making some really good progress on my front squats lately and wanted to get some video so I could see my own form. These are 2 sets from last nights workout which went like this: 45 x 10, 95 x 8, 135 x 6, 225 x 6, 295 x 1, 255 x 6, 315 x 1, 185 x 10. My previous max was 285lbs.

Form looks great to me. I'm jealous that you can hold that much without being in pain. You pwned that 315 - looks like you have more in you.

Very strong.

I'd like to know the opinion of others about this: I find that your knees go to far forward. You seem to initiate the movements with the knees shooting forward, rather than sitting back. If you pause at the bottom on the video, you'll see that the weight seems directly over the toes. I think that this lead to using the quads too much and the posterior chain not enough, and this situation causes more knee stress.

Anyway you show very very good strength.

Max, I see what you mean about my knees. I tend to be quad dominant, so I have been trying to work on my posterior chain more. My quads naturally try to take over. Thanks for pointing this out.

If I take more video next week I will make sure to get my feet in the shot during my lighter sets.
