View Full Version : Estimated BodyFat% & What I need to focus on

Hey for a little background im 18, and I started bulking 4 months ago on a clean bulk...can you guys tell me if my BF % looks alright and what weight I should get to. I'm at 190 now and was going for 200 but that seems to little now so id like an opinion... and Id like to know what muscle groups are okay and what ones need to be worked on..thanks

Not that lean, I'd estimate 16% at the lowest, probably 18% is more accurate. This is based off of the last picture in your list, which is probly the only one worth basing your percentage off of... Most of the pictures are pretty low quality. To those who might think "No way!" just look at the love handles, they are quite prominant and also the lower chest is holding on to fat. Nothing to be ashamed over, just part of the bulking process. With that said, keep up the great work! Add some poundage to that frame! You will be looking great shortly.

Gabe - i disagree, i am 18-19 clipped and hes leaner then me, i say 14-15%

How do I go about getting rid of that lower booby fat? Ive been trying for so damn long lol. It's been there sice I was about 13-14

You need to lower overall bodyfat in order to lose that fat around your chest. The body determines where the fat comes from under a caloric deficit. So you really don't have a choice in the matter. You just need to keep dieting until they go away. This is obviously something you shouldn't do until you are done with your bulk. So maybe start tapering off the bulk, maintain for a a week or two and start the cutting process slowly.

From those pics, it is clear to me that he is 14.5673% bodyfat, +/- .125%. Not too bad. I'd work on packing on some more mass slowly and cut when you start to feel you're getting "fat".
